The mission of the Lake County Municipal League is to serve as a vehicle for member municipalities to take joint action on matters affecting the Lake County area. It is the goal of the LCML to enable member municipalities to better fulfill their mission through legislative action, information sharing and networking.
Our members come from diverse communities throughout Lake County. Tapping into the resources of our membership enables communities to benefit from the experiences of other municipalities Speaking with a unified voice makes the message louder and clearer.
Adding to the expertise, our members serve on various Task Forces and Committees for the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus with an eye toward sharing this valuable information with the entire membership.

Annual Events
Legislative Breakfast
LCML members have the opportunity to meet local legislators and discuss Lake County issues at the annual Legislative Breakfast.
Lobbying trip to Springfield
An annual trip to Springfield enables LCML members to speak directly with the Lake County delegation and lobby for issues important to them.
Regular Business meetings
Six times a year LCML Business Meetings focus on topics of importance to its members. Some of the topics include, TIFs, education tax reform, and telecommunication franchises.
Golf Outing
An annual golf outing provides an opportunity for networking in a casual, relaxed setting.
