February 15 Meeting focuses on Education Funding Reform

Elgin Mayor Edward Schock will be the featured speaker at the LCML February 15, business meeting. He will discuss the efforts of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus Education Reform Committee.

Other topics to be discussed include presentation of the "Home Grown, Local Housing Strategies in Action" manual; discussion of the direction of Lake County Partners; and a proposal by the Metropolitan Planning Council for "One Percent for Planning."

The meeting will be held at the Vernon Hills Golf Course, Route 45 and Evergreen, from 6:00-8:30 pm. Please make your reservations by February 9. Cost is $20 payable at the door. RSVP to or by phone (847) 270-3126.
